A remarkable early tableta, or headdress, constructed of cottonwood, carved and painted. Created by a Hopi in the late 19th century.

Custom display stand is included.

The Hopi tribe, now a sovereign nation, is located in Northeastern Arizona and is comprised of 12 villages spanning three mesas.
