Constructed of native tanned hide, this knife sheath is expertly beaded in blue, yellow, black and red trade beads with stylized tepee and geometric motif. Suspension is fully beaded in the same colors. Custom display stand is included.

A nomadic tribe, the Sioux are associated with areas of the Great Plains of the United States including present-day North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Montana.
