A Pan Reservation/ early Trading Post era Chiefs blanket/rug. A variant of a Third Phase pattern (also referred to as a Fourth Phase). With a central row of stepped diamonds and half diamonds and an hourglass motif in each corner all against a banded ground.

Native handspun wool in natural ivory, gray and black/brown with aniline dyed red, orange and green.

This textile displays beautifully as a wall hanging and is well suited for use as a bed or furniture covering/throw. Also recommended for use as a floor rug.
