This Germantown blanket is woven of commercial yarns originating from mills in the area of Germantown, Pennsylvania. Navajo weavers appreciated the variety bright colors and even weave found in Germantown wool, creating intricate and vibrant textiles often referred to as "Eye-Dazzler" rugs.
