Mesoamerica & South America

The areas including modern day Mexico, Mesoamerica and South America were connected to Native cultures further North by an extensive network of Precolumbian trade routes. This allowed for the exchange of commodities and ideas over thousands of years, during which Mexican and Mesoamerican weaving and pottery had a large influence on Pueblo and Navajo art forms.
