William Bertrum Sharp studied under Boardman Robinson, Edgar Britton and Otis Dozier in Colorado Springs under the GI Bill following service in WWII. He was named as an outstanding young artists of 1956 by Art in America and held a solo exhibition at the McNay Art Institute, San Antonio, Texas in 1966.
