Zuni blanket with a classic design consisting of compound bands in a Moki style pattern. Alternating brown and indigo bands are occasionally broken up with white bands. Native hand-spun wool in natural fleece colors of brown and ivory/white with indigo dyed blue. The Zuni, part of the Pueblo peoples, are native to the southwestern United States including portions of present day New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.
This textile is well suited for use as a wall hanging (horizontal or vertical), a furniture throw or bed covering.
