Vintage Navajo rug with a pictorial design from the Trading Post era rug woven of native hand-spun wool in natural fleece colors of ivory, brown and black with aniline red, circa 1900-1925. Central design elements include of three stylized diamonds with feathers in the center diamond; four triangles with in cream, outlined in dark-brown, inside a larger, red and white striped triangle, with border; all on a natural field.
This textile is well suited for use on the floor as an area rug or as a wall hanging.
