"Saint Anthony of Padua, born in Portugal, was a great preacher, but folklore has exaggerated his ability by claiming that birds, insects and even fish listened attentively to his voice. He has therefore become, like his master Saint Francis of Assisi, a patron of animals. Anthony specializes in finding lost animals and lost items of all sorts, especially burros and cows. He is also a patron of the home. "
