Vintage circa 1940s Navajo rug, handwoven from native hand-spun wool in natural fleece colors of brown/black, ivory and aniline dyed red. Hooked geometric elements are bordered by a tumbling block design. This textile is well suited for use on the floor as an area rug, as a wall hanging/tapestry either horizontally or vertically or a furniture covering.
