Aquatint Etching, an Italian cityscape of a street in San Remo with arches and figures. This image is from a sketch Burr made while traveling in Europe between 1896-1901. He created the etchings in his studio following his return to the United States. Most date to circa 1905, Burr continued to create engravings of his sketches until circa 1930.
