A 19th century American Indian beaded telescope case (Blackfoot/Blackfeet). The case is composed of native tanned hide and beaded in red, yellow, pumpkin and black trade beads in geometric motifs against a blue field. Bottom is edged in cotton cloth and ribbon with brass bells. Houses a brass telescope.
