Northern Plains Beaded Dress with Fringe, circa 1860

A Blackfeet (Northern Plains American Indian) Beaded Dress from the Classic Period (Pre-Reservation era). Constructed of Native tanned hide Pony beads, Real beads and Seed beads with Cochineal-Lac dyed trade cloth.
