Drypoint etching of an Italian landscape along the Appian Way near Rome. This original etching is not signed, authenticity is guaranteed. This image is from a sketch Burr made while traveling in Europe between 1896-1901. He created the etchings in his studio following his return to the United States. Most date to circa 1905, Burr continued to create engravings of his sketches until circa 1930. Presented in an archival mat, custom framing services are available. Seeber #248.
