This is the original artwork/illustration for a poster advertising the inaugural Sun Valley Rodeo (August 14 & 15, 1937). The rodeo, held at the ski resort at Sun Valley, Idaho, was short-lived. Intended to draw summer visitors, it ran between 1937 and 1942 when the resort closed due to WWII.
