Pair of antique Native American moccasins dating to the late Classic Period (1650-1875). Created by a Sioux (Plains Indian) artisan, circa 1870s. The moccasins are constructed of native tanned buckskin with bands of quill work in red, blue and yellow. Beaded around the soles with glass trade beads in blue, white, green and white-heart red.
