Vintage 19th century late Classic Period Navajo transitional blanket, circa 1870. Woven of native hand spun wool in natural fleece colors of ivory/white, brown black, and gray, with aniline dyed red and orange. This textile is well suited for use as a wall hanging, bed covering or furniture throw.
