About the Artist
A native of Texas, Lloyd Lhron Albright studied for a short time at the Chicago Academy of Fine Art in 1922 and in Taos, New Mexico, under Buck Dunton andand Emil Bisttram in the early 1930s. Throughout his career, Albright worked as a painter, wood carver and architect and is known for his paintings of Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.
