Stainless Steel & Bronze Mounted Wall Sculpture titled "Kansas City" by Russell Jacques, circa 1990. Made of stainless steel and bronze. According to the artist, this piece was made in honor of an industrial steel worker from Kansas City. Russell noted that Kansas City sounds 'music like' which is an aspect that he incorporated into this work.

Artist Biography - Russell Jacques
Russell Jacques earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and completed his post graduate studies at Westfield State College. Classicaly trained as a painter, Jacques was introduced to forge welding by traditional blacksmith, Albert Reinhardt. He trained on a 1948 Lincoln arc welding system and soon made a name for himself in sculpture. His sculptures and paintings are in numerous public and private collections.
