Artist Biography - Stephen Batura (1959-)
Born in Colorado in 1959, Stephen Batura received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Batura is known for his paintings based on historical photographs from the early 20th century, many by Obscure Denver photographer, Charles S. Lillybridge. Stephen Batura has completed several historic paintings as well including a large mural at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver.
